Au Petit Café, owned by Kit Marshal, was located at 1230 North Vine Street in the heart of Hollywood and for almost twenty years (1963-1982) was a film and recording industry hangout.
During the sixties Columbia Studios was a few blocks away and all the major record labels including Capitol, A&M, Motown among many others were in close proximity, enjoying their heyday, before piracy and internet downloads.
This small French bistro set a style that spawned at least a dozen other places with similar menus and approach all around the city of Los Angeles.
